Job Description The Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Service is critical to the lifesaving work we do at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, providing timely diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning of diseases in companion animals. As a Diagnostic Imaging technician, you'll operate our computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to obtain quality images for our radiologists and other board-certified specialists across the hospital. Diagnostic Imaging technicians work together as a team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. While one technician is scanning and capturing images, another technician functions as a primary anesthetist and monitors the patient. Our technicians are excellent communicators and collaborators who work with multiple departments at AMC and coordinate multiple imaging procedures each day. We also occasionally get special visitors from local zoos and aquariums that require our advanced imaging services to better help the animals in their care. Job Description Licensed Veterinary Technician working in Internal Medicine (IM) performing Dialysis must be able to perform at a high level of practice with minimal supervision. These Patience Patient Care Assistants participate in LVT patient rounds, obtain vital signs (temperature, heartrate, respiratory rate, blood pressures), monitor patient status, assist with specialized feedings, comfort care, and husbandry. They also assist with emergency procedures and participate in CPR and emergency crisis, delivering lifesaving care when our patients need it most.
