As a Diagnostic Imaging technician, you'll operate our computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to obtain quality images for our radiologists and other board-certified specialists across the hospital. Diagnostic Imaging technicians work together as a team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. While one technician is scanning and capturing images, another technician functions as a primary anesthetist and monitors the patient. These Patience Patient Care Assistants participate in LVT patient rounds, obtain vital signs (temperature, heartrate, respiratory rate, blood pressures), monitor patient status, assist with specialized feedings, comfort care, and husbandry. They also assist with emergency procedures and participate in CPR and emergency crisis, delivering lifesaving care when our patients need it most.
