Job Description Summary: Under the direction of the SBA Lending Coordinator, the Jr. SBA Lending Coordinator is responsible for supporting documentation, closing, monitoring & servicing processes of SBA loans in accordance with the approved policies & procedures within the SBA Department. Prepares documentation within the terms and conditions of the approved CAM and SBA Terms. Coordinates booking, closing, and funding processes. Performs post-closing functions. Assists with all audits. Job Responsibilities: Closing Management • Prepares commitment letter based on CAM and SBA conditions., • Coordinates with closing attorney to submit closing checklist to borrowers/attorneys., • Follows up with borrowers to satisfy closing checklist requirements., • Orders all third-party reports as required (Appraisal/ BV/ Environmental/ Construction Budget Review/Advance, etc.)., • Prepares closing documents and closes loans per CAM & Commitment Letter., • Assists with pulling third party searches as needed (CAIVRS / SAMs, etc.), • Documents and verifies capital infusion prior to loan closing., • Obtains and follows up for insurance prior to closing., • Confirms pre & post-closing UCC & Mortgage liens & filings with CAM & closing., • Uploads documents and modifies information as required in various Bank and SBA systems (Etran/nCino / DNA/ Nautilus/ etc.), • Prepares SBA Terms & Conditions., • Issues required letters regarding flood insurance notification., • Ensures SBA guaranty fee is paid as required., • Processes broker fee (Form 159 along with invoices).Pipeline Management and Loan Servicing, • Monitors the closing pipeline., • Performs closings as assigned., • Ensures transactions are efficiently distributed and processed in a timely manner., • Assist with loan payment collection, • Prepares monthly 1502 reporting., • Prepare semiannual SBA liquidation report., • Prepare SBA 10 tab as required.Funding, • Coordinates loan closing with borrowers and attorneys; prepares wires/checks for funding., • Inputs wire for SBA closings.Post-Closing, • Inputs all closed loans into the Bank’s DNA system and verifies entries for accuracy., • Inputs wires / ACH/ check request for future advances., • Inputs supporting loan file documentation into the Bank’s document imaging system and prepares closing file for post-closing review., • Supports all post-closing related activities such as receipt of all required recorded documentation, policies, and completion of collateral files., • Monitors and obtains all necessary documents for multi advance loans; such as Construction and leasehold improvement transactions. (Invoices, Lien waivers, title rundowns, inspections, etc.)Review Support, • Assists with all audits., • Assists team members in gathering information for any internal or external loan reviews.Other Responsibilities, • Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned., • Inputs and submits request for various 3rd party reports (appraisal/environmental/ cost review/BV)., • Submit payoff request to SBA., • Issue new broker agreement along with collecting W-9 and any other supporting documents., • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;, • 2-3 years’ experience in business lending documentation & closing, SBA focus a plus;, • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel;, • Familiar with UCC filings (both origination & termination);, • Excellent customer service skills;, • Attention to detail;, • Organizational skills;, • Ability to work independently, once trained, to complete work on a timely basis;, • Medical, Dental, Vision and Rx which are contributory., • Bonus programs., • Employee Stock Option Program (ESOP)., • Life Insurance, Long Term Disability and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (LTD&AD&D)., • Paid Time Off (PTO) which includes Personal and Vacation Time., • Paid Sick Time., • Bank Holidays., • This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home, based on business needs.
