Job Title Property Tax Analyst Job Description Summary The Property Tax Analyst provides analytical and administrative support to the Cushman & Wakefield Property Tax Services team. This role assists in managing property tax assessments and appeals collecting and analyzing data preparing client deliverables and maintaining accurate tracking of filings and deadlines. The position is ideal for a candidate with a foundational understanding of real estate valuation or finance who is eager to grow into a consulting role within a collaborative fast-paced environment. Job Description Key Responsibilities • Research and compile property assessment data and market information., • Collect and organize financial statements rent rolls and comparable sales data., • Assist in the preparation of valuation analyses using cost income and market approaches., • Prepare and submit property tax returns and supporting documentation under supervision., • Maintain internal databases ensuring timely tracking of appeal filings deadlines and jurisdictional requirements., • Support preparation of client deliverables including summaries reports and savings analyses., • Communicate with local jurisdictions to verify assessment and tax data., • Provide administrative and analytical support for appeal and compliance activities., • Education: Bachelors degree in Real Estate Finance Accounting Economics or related field., • Experience: 03 years of experience in real estate valuation property tax or financial analysis. Internship experience in a related field preferred., • Technical Skills:, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word., • Exposure to Argus Enterprise CoStar or similar data tools is a plus., • Familiarity with property valuation concepts and property tax terminology preferred., • Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data and quantitative information., • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in data and deliverables., • Collaboration: Works effectively as part of a team., • Learning Agility: Demonstrates curiosity and eagerness to develop professional expertise. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a Senior Property Tax Analyst role through demonstrated technical proficiency increased client interaction and deeper involvement in appeal strategy and valuation work.
