The RN will rapidly assess, stabilize, monitor, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and traumatic emergencies. Primary Responsibilities \t • Perform triage and emergency patient assessments. \t, • Develop and implement nursing care plans for acute and critical patients. \t, • Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and emergency treatments. \t, • Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status. \t, • Manage cardiac, respiratory, trauma, neurological, and sepsis-related emergencies. \t, • Assist during resuscitations and code situations. \t, • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams. \t, • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR. \t, • Float to other areas as required. \t, • Serve in a charge nurse role when needed (preferred).
