Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Act as Team player, adaptable to changing multiple priorities., • Carefully read the complete customer generated product pick ticket to identify products needed for selection – noting unit of measure, quantity, special shipping instructions, etc., • Accurately and in accordance with documented procedures, select product from inventory using a scan gun device and completes appropriate paperwork accurately and legibly., • Unload inbound materials and accurately and legibly record on the appropriate paperwork., • Prepare finished product for shipping by stacking according to customer requirements, applying appropriate labels and shrink-wrapping pallets., • Load & unload trucks and containers by hand, with pallet jacks and/or forklifts. Certified on all company forklifts and operates in a safe and responsible manner., • Select and package small parcel orders. Proficient on the documentation and processing of UPS and Federal Express orders., • Maintain a clean, orderly, efficient and safe warehousing environment., • Minimize damaged product. Repack and re-box as necessary. Call all safety concerns to the attention of management., • Any and all other duties and projects assigned., • Transport, load, and unload goods at various agency locations ensuring efficient and accurate recording of material transfers with scan gun system., • Assist with picking and delivering products, as needed, between agency locations and for external customers., • Daily inspections of all delivery vehicles – include fueling, cleaning and reporting any maintenance requirements., • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record., • Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and legible manner to include transfer sheets, DOT Logs, VCR’s., • High school diploma or GED required. Solid work history that demonstrates reliability. Minimum of one year warehouse work experience required. Must have a CDL B with airbrake and passenger endorsement. Ability to become certified on all company forklifts and operates in a safe and responsible manner., • Must have a team player mentality committed to maintaining a positive and safe work environment. Must be able to take direction and work cooperatively with warehouse management and Warehouse Worker IIs., • Must have good listening skills and ability to effectively communicate., • Strong computer and math skills needed for accuracy in picking orders and maintenance of inventory.
