Job Description Hourly wage: $33.19 - $35.71 ($60,405.80 - $65,000 a year) Purpose: The Fundraising Professional is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure financial support for the organization’s mission. This role focuses on donor engagement, cultivation of philanthropic partnerships, and the strategic oversight of fundraising events and campaigns to meet development goals. The position includes ensuring alignment between fundraising, branding, and outreach strategies. Job Duties: • Develop, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation support, events, and digital fundraising., • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, and foundation donors., • Collaborate with leadership to set clear, measurable fundraising goals aligned with organizational objectives and growth targets., • Create donor engagement plans and communication strategies to build long-term relationships., • Identify new and innovative revenue streams and donor engagement tactics to diversify funding sources., • Create targeted campaigns and appeals tailored to different donor segments, including individual, corporate, and institutional donors., • Work closely with program and finance teams to align fundraising messages with programmatic impact and to ensure compliance with funder expectations., • Design, lead, and oversee the strategic planning and execution of key fundraising initiatives, including high-profile events such as galas, donor stewardship experiences, and digital fundraising campaigns., • Advance degree preferred. You'll engage directly with consumers and dispensary staff to drive product education, support compliant sales environments, and strengthen brand presence in a highly regulated market. This is a dynamic role that blends marketing, compliance, customer education, and in-field relationship building. Success requires curiosity, creativity, emotional intelligence, and strong organizational skills. Core Responsibilities ● Represent cannabis brands at licensed retail dispensaries and approved pop-up events. ● Commute to dispensaries and/or pop-up locations with specified Brand Kits. ● Inventory and maintain each Brand Kit. ● Maintain booth cleanliness, proper signage, and brand-aligned displays. ● Review information related to Brand Specific Products and Standard Operating Procedures. ● Educate consumers on product categories, dosing, effects, and responsible use. ● Build trust with dispensary staff; introduce products and manage materials respectfully. ● Adhere strictly to NYS cannabis laws and Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) guidelines.
