Minimum Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in related field preferred, minimum of 60 college credits., • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the I/DD field., • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations., • Excellent communication and organizational skills., • Ability to handle emergencies in a professional manner., • Driver’s License: A valid and clean New York State driver’s license is required., • Familiarity with eVero, ADP, and Microsoft Office is a plus., • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, • Daily standing, bending and lifting, • Medical Benefits: Generous employer contribution; eligibility begins the first day of the month following 60 days of employment., • Dental Benefits: Employer-paid., • Vision Plan, • Accident Insurance, • Critical Illness Insurance, • Pet Insurance, • Identity Theft & Fraud Protection, • Legal Services, • 403(B) Retirement Plan: Organization match of up to 5%., • Life Insurance: 100% employer-paid, coverage of 1x annual salary., • Tuition Assistance, • Section 125 Flexible Spending Program, • Up to 80 hours of vacation during the first calendar year of employment. What You Will Do: • Assist in the daily operations of the residence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, agency policies, and quality programs., • Oversee individuals' personal allowances, bank accounts, and financial records., • Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards., • Promote the health, well-being, and personal choice of individuals., • Assist in the training, supervision, and evaluation of all assigned direct care staff., • Assist the manager in creating and maintaining weekly staff schedules., • Oversee all program documentation., • Perform duties of a direct support professional as needed., • Complete incident reports as required. Work Hours/Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Tuesday - Saturday (12 PM - 8 PM)
