The Guild provides comprehensive social services and programs to support more than 16,000 individuals annually. POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, the Senior Manager of Community Building will develop and implement an integrated, well-designed strategy that promotes the organization and its programs and services to the community. This position will successfully establish partnerships with other community-based organizations, community leaders, and community and political groups. In this highly visible role, the Senior Manager will serve as an organizational ambassador within the community at large. They will manage internal and external relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work to understand the needs of the Guilds program participants and the local community, and develop and implement programs and large- and small-scale events that align with the Guilds mission to meet those needs and promote the Guild services, • Represent Hudson Guild in the community including attending Tenant Association meetings, Community Board meetings and events, and other gatherings in Chelsea and on the west side of Manhattan.
