Job DescriptionTHE ROLE As Controller of Enhanced, you will be the everyday lead of the Accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and scalable systems to support rapid expansion. Primary Responsibilities • Manage project teams in the delivery of cross-functional projects across multiple areas of expertise, including product commercialization and launch, portfolio and product strategy, and organizational strategy and excellence, • Support project leadership in the development of project objectives; develop and manage project plans, • Identify required project tasks, assist project leads in assigning tasks to team members, and demonstrate accountability for ensuring task completion, • Design, execute, analyze and synthesize primary and secondary research efforts, • Identify key insights, recommendations, opportunities, and threats to inform corporate and commercial strategies, • Regularly engage senior-level clients, • Recruit, develop and manage top talent, • Demonstrated expertise and experience in new product commercialization, product launch, product strategy, and organizational strategy and excellence, • Demonstrated expertise in supporting the development of effective U.S. market access strategies:, • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the areas of U.S. Coverage, Coding, Payment, and Pricing, • Experience in / understanding of key market access decision makers, including organized customers and pathway decision makers., • Experience in / understanding of evidence needs to support market access and pricing, • Experience in / understanding of evolving healthcare policy and the impact on access, • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in both the medical and pharmacy benefit across all major US payer segments (e.g., Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Federal Markets), • Demonstrated knowledge of reimbursement methodologies across core sites of care, including physician offices / clinics, hospital outpatient departments, hospital inpatient, and long-term care settings, • Prior experience in both medical benefit and pharmacy benefit specialty therapeutic areas, • Prior experience fielding primary market research initiatives in support of commercial strategy campaigns, • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple workstreams across matrixed teams, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Advanced degree(s) (PhD, MD, MBA, MPH, JD, or MS), • 4+ years of life sciences consulting experience or comparable biopharma industry experienceCompensation: Base salary range: $160,000 - $175,000 depending on experience. Vice President of Finance MD Squared Property Group is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead our finance and accounting functions. This is a senior-level position with a path to join our leadership team. The VP of Finance will oversee both corporate and client accounting operations and directly manage the Director of Client Accounting. This is a highly visible role that will require strategic oversight, sound financial management, and hands-on execution. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams including HR, Property Management, Project Management, and Executive Leadership. The ideal candidate is both a big-picture thinker and someone willing to roll up their sleeves. Essential Job Duties: Corporate Finance & Accounting • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analysis., • Approve and review corporate invoices and payments., • Manage corporate banking relationships and transactions., • Oversee the corporate bookkeeper and support payroll processes in collaboration with HR., • Manage recurring and non-recurring invoicing for management, project management fees and ancillary revenue., • Prepare the annual corporate budget and assist in year-end tax documentation and preparation., • Audit corporate income and receivables on a monthly basis., • Review and calculate commissions (e.g. for Sales)., • Manage and refine systems and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in corporate financial operations., • Provide financial support and insight to the executive team and department heads., • Identify and mitigate financial, operational and regulatory risks, including insurance, fraud prevention, etc. Client Accounting & Oversight • Oversee the Director of Client Accounting and provide support as needed on complex matters., • Review and enhance systems for ACH fraud protection and utility bill review., • Oversee ESS system administration including 32BJ union payments and employee change updates., • Provide oversight and review of financial processes for new management assignments., • Play a key role in company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance tracking., • Standardize accounting procedures and implement best practices across property management and corporate finance., • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives including growth planning, profitability, and risk management., • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in financial operations., • Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to long-term planning as the company scales. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred., • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role., • Experience in property management, real estate, or a related industry strongly preferred., • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting., • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail., • High degree of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across departments., • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms; experience with Appfolio, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems a plus.
