Clinical Director of Patient Care The Director of Patient Care (PCD) will collaborate with the Nursing Education Department and utilize subject-matter experts as appropriate to assist with staff education, clinical issues, and orientation development. He/she will support the learning and assimilation of all newly hired clinical staff within the department through weekly meetings. The PCD is accountable for the acute care environment and must create learning experiences that are open, respectful and promote the sharing of expertise. This ability to enhance the practice environment is critical to the recruitment and retention of all staff.
