Location: New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Key Responsibilities IP Media Architecture * Support and maintain a SMPTE ST 2110 IP media architecture used for real-time transport of video, audio, and ancillary signals across studio infrastructure. * Maintain synchronization of broadcast devices using Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and associated timing infrastructure. * Support orchestration and device discovery workflows using NMOS control frameworks. * Monitor and troubleshoot multicast media traffic and IP transport flows across broadcast networks. * Assist with maintaining high-availability broadcast networks supporting leaf-spine or similar high-bandwidth media architectures. How You'll Contribute: A Senior Field Engineer (SFE) will focus on commissioning complex systems. Commissioning involves the testing and fine tuning of all the equipment in the system to ensure it is working well, independently and as a system, per the design intent. The SFE will travel to the customer's site, and ensure the system is installed, setup and operating as designed. The SFE should be able to solve issues as they arise and be able to communicate with the team as needed. This position will mentor other FE's and assist other FE's through remote online support. The Territory covers New England: Must live within the Territory What You'll Do: • Commission systems in the field. The SFE will optimize all the settings in the equipment to ensure the system is operating as designed. Audio, video, displays, control and networking all have different optimization and adjustment needs., • The SFE will work closely with the system programmer to ensure the control system is functioning as without any issues. Remote systems work with programmers is common to load new code and troubleshoot issues., • May be required to regularly lead a team on large projects., • The SFE should be able to provide simple code and touch panel updates under the direction of the assigned programmer., • Keep current on technology, latest firmware updates, common field issues, • Diagnosing known and found problems and formulating solutions, • The SFE will mentor and provide remote assistance and support to other FE's. Complexity: The field aspect complicates commissioning a system. The SFE needs to have a high level of knowledge on a wide variety of equipment and different manufacturers. Deep understanding of audio, video, control and networking systems is important. This position requires coordination with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure success. Providing training and support for other FE's and for the most complex systems and tasks requires a very experienced person with exceptional people skills. Decision Making Authority: The SFE typically will be working alone after the installation is substantially complete, but still will coordinate with other team members to ensure a smooth project completion and good communication. Physical Working Environment: Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 50% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas. How You'll Contribute: The Senior Commissioning Engineer (CX) is a key member of the post-sales Engineering group within the Electronic Security Systems (ESS) team, serving as lead engineer on commercial & federal design projects. The CX supports programming and commissioning project lifecycles, from initial sales concepts after design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Acting as a technical resource, the CX engineer ensures client and system requirements are met and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The position will work under the direction of the Senior Nurse Practitioner, Medical and Surgical Directors of the CLDT and in collaboration with Pediatric Hepatologists, Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants who see patients at all sites throughout NY and NJ. The position will be based at the main campus of CUMC. Responsibilities • Completion, documentation and ensuring compliance of principal components of the laboratory and radiology testing and patient follow-up; providing expertise in management of immunosuppression under the supervision of attending NP and Hepatologist., • Support on-going clinical functions of the service to provide compassionate patient-centered care., • Coordinate the evaluation process for potential transplant candidates with the multidisciplinary team., • Coordinate patient consults for transplant evaluation., • List and maintain patients on liver/intestinal transplant waitlist., • Participation in administrative, selection and education meetings., • Provides data to regulatory agencies., • Demonstrates knowledge of compliance with United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) policies and listing requirement., • Coordinate patient care including an evaluation of diagnostic testing, review of lab reports, and direct patient care under the supervision of the attending NP's and Hepatologist., • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team members to determine and achieve specific health outcomes for patients., • Assess conditions of assigned patients., • Identify nursing needs of the patient and prescribed treatment., • Facilitate office care of patients and record-keeping., • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds or conferences with physicians and others., • Facilitate support/education groups in collaboration with other healthcare providers., • Assure that the clinical standards relative to the documentation of the patient's plan of care is explained to the patient and family., • Collaborate with treatment team and ensure continuity of care among the professional disciplines make patients' care as seamless as possible., • Address appropriate measures to provide patient and family satisfaction., • Assist practitioners with clinical judgment affecting patient care., • Serve as liaison between patients, physicians, clinical and research teams, and other healthcare providers., • Maintain overview of the patient's progress through the healthcare continuum; facilitate ancillary testing and referral for services, avoiding duplication of effort., • Communicate with related services regarding patients' needs., • Pursue opportunities and develop action plans to improve patient care and resolve identified problems., • Assure that nursing care is administered in accordance with safety regulations identified by standards, the institution and regulatory groups., • Attend the required mandatory education programs on an annual basis., • Assume responsibility for professional competence through demonstrated willingness to evaluate own nursing practice, maintenance of working knowledge of current nursing literature and attending continuing education programs.
