We are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Technician - Tester & Inspector with 1 year of technical experience in who can conduct visual inspection for wear and tear on all fire alarm devices to include fire alarm control panel, batteries, data gathering panel (DGPs), notification appliances, initiating devices, and remote annunciators, conduct test and response on all applicable fire alarm devices, conduct mechanical testing on all applicable fire alarm devices as per NYC, NFPA, and HRFS requirements. Minimum requirements: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent / Some Trade School / 6 months to 2 years trade school certification, • 1-2 years relevant Fire Alarm or other technical work experience Qualifications: • Knowledge of fire alarm systems and operation, • Understanding and application of NYC Building codes and NFPA fire alarm codes, • Knowledge of fire alarm products, EST products preferred, • Proper use of hand tools (meter, toner, etc.), • Understanding of basic electronics theories and principles (Ohm’s Law, AC/DC, etc.), • Ability to demonstrate the safe use of ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and related equipment required, • Acceptable report writing procedures, • Good verbal and written communication skills, • Understanding of all company policies and procedures Benefits: High Rise offers a highly competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, prescription plans for employees and their families, company paid life insurance, 401k/Profit Sharing contributions. We are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Technician, specializing in troubleshooting with two years of EST Panel experience and can perform the duties and responsibilities of an equivalent level Tester and Inspector as needed, respond to service requests, read and understand system status on Fire Alarm Control Panel (condition, address, device), conduct diagnostic tests to determine cause of alarm and/or trouble system status, as well as ground faults, make requisition required parts when necessary to repair problem, adjust, replace, or repair defective device(s) to meet NYC, NFPA, and HRFS requirements, conduct testing on all repaired devices, identify code issues and non-conformance issues, and make recommendations on alternative solutions to client/office, and perform minor programming repairs as needed and directed by Field Service Managers. STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the Technology Digital Operations team. This role is ideal for a highly detail-oriented QA Engineer or seasoned QA tester who excels in validating digital applications and ensuring exceptional user experiences across web, mobile, and OTT platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep testing expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-moving digital environment.
