Job Description: The Regional Director of Nursing (RDON) coordinates provision of infusion services to maintain compliance by directing professional practices, company policies and procedures, standards of practice, local, state, and federal rules and regulations, and accreditation standards for the assigned services and areas. The RDON will initially focus on New York state with likely, future expansion to other states anticipated. The RDON organizes, plans, implements, and evaluates agency services, programs and activities, with oversight of subcontracted services. Ensures adequate, effective, efficient, and appropriate delivery of services to maintain quality day-to-day care for all clients, which includes the ability to troubleshoot infusion-related problems remotely. The RDON is also responsible for representing BioMatrix infusion nursing with referral sources in a professional and persuasive manner. Job DescriptionStaff Attorney – Consumer Bankruptcy and Education Debt PracticeDEPARTMENT: City Bar Justice Center REPORTS TO: Project Director FLSA STATUS: Exempt The City Bar Justice Center seeks an attorney committed to equal access to justice to join our team as a full-time Staff Attorney principally for our consumer bankruptcy and education debt practice as our organization synergizes the operations of its Consumer Bankruptcy Project and Homeowner Stability Project. The Justice Center provides high-quality, free civil legal services benefiting over 27,000 New Yorkers each year who lack resources to hire private counsel. With a staff of about 50, the Justice Center relies on expansive pro bono partnerships with law firms and corporate legal departments, and also works closely with the courts, the City Bar, and other stakeholders to support and advance the Justice Center’s multiple civil legal services projects. The City Bar Justice Center’s consumer bankruptcy and education debt practice advises individuals burdened with consumer, medical, and student loan debt on rights and remedies available to them under Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy and consumer laws; offers financial literacy education resources to the larger community; and trains and mentors pro bono attorneys to assist clients and support legal clinics, trainings, and presentations. A partnership with the Community Service Society’s Education Debt Consumer Assistance Program is an additional, critical piece of our work assisting federal and private student loan borrowers. The staff attorney whom we are hiring, together with a new project coordinator (paralegal), will work closely with the Justice Center’s Homeowner Stability Project, with the combined team charged with enhancing our capacity to meet the consumer debt, consumer finance, and other economic stability needs of our client communities. Approximately 25% of new admissions per year to the NYC jail system will receive care on the mental health service. This service strives to provide safe, holistic and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for the diverse range of mental health issues that face the population, from serious mental illness to the natural struggles that accompany incarceration. The service provides some of the most comprehensive and unique treatment modalities in the country, including specialty housing units for individuals with serious mental illness, a 24-hour on-call psychiatric service, robust creative arts programming, a strong DBT training program, clinics in each of the facilities, substance use treatment, integrated re- entry services, and relationships with multiple training institutions throughout the city. Responsibilities Full Time: Tuesday - Saturday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm • Orients patients to the unit policies, procedures, rules, regulations and routine schedule, • Utilizes crisis and/or de-escalation intervention practices, when necessary and appropriate, with patient whose behavior cannot be otherwise supported without such interventions, • Identifies patient characteristics and environmental variables that may trigger agitated behaviors(s) and communicates such information to the treatment team, • Performs patient's checks/rounds as required, • Communicates clinical matters to assigned Mental Health/DOC or other professional staff as required; reports any unusual findings or changes in physical/medical or emotional conditions to their supervisor that may affect the patient or the therapeutic milieu, • Escorts patient to groups or other required locations as directed, • Performs 1:1 monitoring of patients for behavioral management/modification purposes, • Participates in departmental clinical training as required, • May lead or co-lead groups/activities in areas such as anger management techniques and practices, and appropriately documents group activities, • Responds appropriately to patient emergencies and cooperates with DOC staff when necessary to support the safety of the unit, • Participates in regularly-scheduled, in person 1:1 supervision with the MHTA supervisor or designee, • Demonstrates a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, • Performs other appropriate mental health duties as directed by team leaders or supervisors Interface with DOC Staff, • Engage DOC staff when there is any incident of violence on the unit or when contraband is found on the unit or there is suspicion of contraband, • Prior to each tour, appropriately debrief DOC custodial staff regarding problematic patients or issues on the unit Job Hazards: Normal correctional health environment at facilities assigned This position is located on Rikers Island. POSITION SUMMARY The Multifamily Portfolio Manager will develop and lead property operations strategies, supervise on-site building staff and superintendents, coordinate maintenance and capital projects of the designated multifamily real estate portfolio. This role ensures that properties are managed efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with ownership objectives. The Manager acts as a liaison between on-site property teams and Asset Management, translating strategic goals into actionable plans. This individual will also play a crucial role in collaborating with senior leadership, contributing significantly to the growth of ESRT's multifamily portfolio.
