Job Description Job Description: Club Operations Manager Job Type : Full Time ( Level 2 Management ) Schedule: Various Report to : Club General Manager Location: City Night-Life Entertainment Corp As the Club Operations Manager at City Night-Life Entertainment Corp, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within the club to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, including bar, security, front-of-house, maintenance, and entertainment departments. You will work closely with senior management to uphold brand standards, drive efficiency, and maintain a safe, profitable, and enjoyable environment for guests and staff alike. Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations across all departments within the club, • Lead and supervise department heads and team leads (bar, security, FOH, maintenance, etc.), • Ensure operational excellence, cleanliness, and customer service standards are consistently met, • Coordinate scheduling, staffing levels, and team performance across shifts, • Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting, cost control, and vendor management, • Monitor inventory levels for supplies, equipment, and bar stock; oversee ordering and receiving, • Ensure compliance with health, safety, alcohol service, and labor regulations, • Support security and safety efforts to maintain a secure environment for patrons and staff, • Oversee event setup and coordination, ensuring smooth execution of club nights and private events, • Address and resolve customer concerns or incidents promptly and professionally, • 3–5 years of experience in nightlife, hospitality, or club operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role, • Strong leadership and team management skills, • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities, • Knowledge of nightclub or bar operations, including POS systems, inventory, and staffing, • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including liquor licensing and safety protocols, • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, • Flexible schedule, with availability on nights, weekends, and holidays, • High school diploma required; college degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application. Job Type: Part-Time (Nights, Weekends, Holidays Required) Reports to: Front End Manager, Lead Cashier Job Description: City Night-Life Entertainment Corp. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Club Cashier to join our front-end team at our Newark, NJ nightlife venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all financial transactions at the club’s point of entry, ensuring accurate cash handling, and providing exceptional customer service in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for many guests, the Club Cashier plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere while efficiently managing transactions and access control procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Greet guests warmly and process entry payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system (cash, credit/debit, mobile payments)., • Issue wristbands, tickets, or stamps according to club policies and event requirements., • Verify guest identification to ensure legal age compliance for 21+ events., • Balance cash drawers before and after shifts; reconcile discrepancies and prepare end-of-night reports., • Maintain accuracy and security when handling cash, change, and credit transactions., • Assist with club entry flow and collaborate with security and front-of-house staff., • Provide friendly, professional customer service and resolve payment or entry-related issues promptly., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier booth and surrounding areas., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Minimum 1–2 years of cashiering or customer service experience, preferably in a nightclub, bar, hospitality, or high-volume entertainment venue., • Basic proficiency with POS systems and handling cash and card transactions., • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be comfortable interacting with diverse guests., • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes loud or high-pressure environment., • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special event shifts., • Must be at least 21 years old and able to verify guest IDs according to state and local laws., • Previous experience in nightlife, bars, or entertainment settings is a strong plus.
