Who You Are: We’re looking for a motivated Women’s Footwear Designer to support the Outlet/Cutup design team. This role will support the Design Director, Senior Designer, and Technical Designer through the full development cycle. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Obtains required Care Management enrollment consents from the individual or legal guardian, • Completes initial and ongoing needs assessments (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths; CANS) to determine the individual’s most appropriate level of care management., • Responsible for the overall management of the patient’s Individualized Plan of Care., • Develop a patient centered Individual Plan of Care and complete assessments., • Support adherence to treatment recommendations, • Monitor and evaluate a patient’s needs, including prevention, wellness, medical, mental health, care transitions, and social and community services where appropriate., • Meets client contact requirements (keeping in mind that caseloads may be “blended”):, • Care Managers serving children will be required to have in-person visits with members on a consistent schedule as per the mandates of their acuity level (high, medium, or low)., • Meets Care Management documentation requirements in a timely and accurate manner by effectively utilizing designated Care Management Portal (Medicaid Analytics Performance Portal; MAPP) and Electronic Health Records as needed., • Functions as an advocate for clients within the agency and with external service providers, • Promotes wellness and prevention by linking enrollees with resources and services based on their individual needs and preferences, • Educate the child/caregiver on care of chronic conditions, immunization, screening and other preventive interventions., • Help clients obtain and maintain public benefits necessary to gain health care services, including Medicaid and cash assistance eligibility, Social Security, SNAP, housing, legal services, employment and training supports, and others., • Effectively communicates and shares information with the individual and their families and other caregivers with appropriate consideration for language, literacy and cultural preferences., • Conducts care planning meetings/conferences and serves as an interdisciplinary team member to effectively provide/coordinate comprehensive and holistic care, • Identifies available community-based resources and actively manages appropriate referrals, access, engagement, follow-up and coordination of services, • In the event of hospital admissions, actively engages in the discharge planning process ensuring that the patient has all recommended post discharge services in place prior to discharge, • Attends and participates in ongoing staff development trainings to enhance skills needed to effectively meet the demands of the Care Manager position, • Ensure that child has periodic evaluations and follow up treatment for dental, vision and hearing care, following Medicaid EPSDT guidelines, • All other duties, as needed, by CCFHH BENEFITS/PERKS: • A comprehensive health insurance package including medical, dental and vision plans for you and your family, • 403B retirement benefits, • Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance, • Generous paid time off (vacation, personal, sick, 12 paid holidays), • Free employee assistance program through National EAP, • Insurance discounts for our staff and their families, • Trainings to support professional and personal development, • Employee wellness program MercyFirst is an inclusive, anti-racist, multicultural organization and an Equal Opportunity Employer who welcomes prospective employees from diverse backgrounds for all levels at the agency. Job Description Position Overview The Director of Employee Experience is a senior leader responsible for strengthening the employee experience across KIPP NYC. Reporting to the Managing Director of Talent & Employee Experience, this leader ensures that our people systems are clear, consistent, values-aligned, and designed to support high performance in the service of students and families. The Director owns employee relations, investigations, performance evaluation systems, performance intervention processes, and the annual intent-to-return cycle. This role ensures that leaders across the organization are equipped to manage people effectively, proactively address challenges, and uphold high expectations with empathy and fairness. As a key member of the Talent & Employee Experience Team, the Director directly manages two team members and partners cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Technology, Marketing & Communications, and other central teams to ensure coordinated, compliant, and equitable people practices across KIPP NYC. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of three in-person days per week based out of our KIPP NYC Midtown Manhattan office. The role also includes travel to KIPP NYC campuses across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. The cadence and frequency of school visits will be determined by your leadership team. Duties and Responsibilities: General responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Employee Relations & Performance Systems • Own employee relations strategy and execution across KIPP NYC, ensuring equitable, timely, and consistent resolution of concerns, • Lead employee investigations with discretion and rigor, aligned to policy, legal requirements, and KIPP NYC’s values, • In partnership with the Managing Director:, • Lead and continuously refine performance evaluation systems to ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability, • Design and oversee performance intervention plans, maintaining centralized standards while supporting leaders through implementation, • Own the annual intent-to-return process, including design, communications, timelines, execution, and alignment to performance outcomes and staffing strategy, • Lead proactive strategies that strengthen engagement, retention, and professional culture across the network, • Equip leaders with early-intervention tools to address performance, attendance, professionalism, and interpersonal concerns constructively and consistently, • Analyze trends in employee experience data to identify root causes, inform preventative strategies, and drive continuous improvement, • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization on complex employee relations and performance matters, • Coach and develop leaders to address complex and sensitive employee matters with clarity, empathy, and consistent alignment with KIPP NYC’s standards, policies, and expectations., • Ensure leaders understand and effectively implement policies, procedures, and timelines, • Manage and develop two team members through clear goal-setting, coaching, and feedback, • Strengthen and streamline systems, workflows, and documentation related to employee relations, performance management, and annual cycles, • Continuously improve processes to ensure scalability, clarity, and alignment across the organizationQualifications, • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus, • 7+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, human resources, or people operations (education or nonprofit experience preferred), • 4+ years of people management experience, • Demonstrated ownership of investigations, performance management systems, and intervention processes, • Strong judgment and discretion with highly sensitive matters, • Proven ability to balance empathy with accountability, • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities, • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and anti-racist practices in people systems and leadership Additional Information Compensation and Benefits: KIPP NYC offers a salary ranging from $115,000 - $144,000. Salary ranges at KIPP NYC are standardized based on role level and role function. Individual salaries are determined through a lens of equity, accounting for years of experience relevant to the role and scope of responsibilities, and are benchmarked against others within the same salary band.
