Job Description Summary We’re hiring an HR Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations—recruiting coordination, onboarding, HRIS data entry, benefits and payroll admin support, and general employee inquiries. Job Responsibility Recruiting coordination: post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, manage candidate communication, prepare offer packets. Onboarding & offboarding: send new-hire paperwork, collect I-9/E-Verify, set up accounts/badges, run checklists; support exit process. HRIS & records: maintain employee data and files (digital), update org lists, run simple reports. Benefits & leave support: help with enrollments/changes, answer basic questions, liaise with brokers/vendors. Payroll support: prep changes (new hires/terms/rate changes), timecard reminders, basic audits in coordination with Payroll. Employee support: respond to policy/handbook and PTO/sick leave questions; route sensitive issues to HR Manager. Compliance admin: maintain required postings, training rosters, acknowledgments, and audit checklists; assist workers’ comp claims. Culture & events: help coordinate trainings, recognition, and small team events. Qualification 0–2 years HR/office admin experience. Strong organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Comfort with HRIS/ATS and spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel basics). Clear written/verbal communication; bilingual preferred (English + Mandarin or Spanish a plus).
