Job Description Overview: Schacker Real Estate Corp is seeking self-motivated, outgoing individuals with strong people and problem solving skills to join their Melville-based commercial real estate brokerage firm as commission-based real estate salespeople and associate brokers. Responsibilities: * Actively prospect for new clients through in-person outreach in industrial parks, cold-calling, and networking to identify businesses looking to buy, sell, or lease industrial properties. * Identify suitable on-market and off-market properties and secure tours with well-qualified, motivated buyers and tenants. * Elicit oral and prepare written purchase offers and lease proposals, and negotiate the business terms to form the foundation for sale contracts and leases. * Review leases and contracts to ensure the agreed-upon business terms are accurately reflected. * Collaborate with industry professionals— such as attorneys, lenders, engineers, and contractors—to ensure smooth and successful transactions for your clients. Qualifications: * Outstanding communication skills * Have - or are willing and eager to develop - deep expertise in industrial real estate as well as construction, legal, and tax considerations that impact transactions. * Exceptional time management and organization so you can continuously acquire and manage multiple listings and numerous customers seeking space * A tenacious and results-driven mindset—able to prospect, build relationships, and guide clients through the transaction process with confidence * Sales experience is preferred * Fluency in a foreign language, especially Mandarin or Spanish, is a plus. * A New York State Real Estate Salesperson or Associate Broker License is required prior to joining Schacker Realty. Job Description Human Resources Generalist Hybrid position three days in the office 2 days remote Position Summary: This position performs Human Resources-related duties at the professional level with a primary responsibility to support health care recruitment and retention related activities with a specific focus on addressing patient services vacancies and working collaboratively with the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Affiliate Programs. This role will contribute and support all recruitment related activities for the affiliate. This role will also support secondarily other human resources related functions including payroll processes and contribute to department support and success. Essential Functions: · Assure all job vacancies have approved personnel requisitions prior to initiating recruitment efforts. File all requisitions in logbook and maintain same. Maintain listing of current job openings on website and create fliers for posting open positions in-house. · Research opportunities and create copy for job board postings, on websites, and in other media as appropriate. Review applications and resumes to match experience with specific job-related requirements. · Recruit, screen and conduct preliminary interviews with candidates to fill entry level, technical, and professional job openings. Schedule secondary in person interviews with hiring managers. · Process criminal, credit, education, and other background checks according to company policy. · Upon selection of candidate, prepare salary setting, extend offer, and prepare concurrence letter. After candidate acceptance, coordinate all onboarding documents, coordinate a complete personnel file and the two-person auditing process.
