Job DescriptionJob Title: Inside Sales Specialist Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (3-Month Contract) Location: Onsite Schedule: Full-Time Position Overview The Inside Sales Specialist supports daily customer operations and sales execution in a manufacturing environment. This role is heavily focused on customer service and sales support, including order management, shipment tracking, reporting, and internal coordination with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Accounting teams. This is not a digital or online marketing role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with customers, data, and internal teams in a fast-paced industrial setting. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales Support • Prepare and maintain daily sales, shipment, and backlog reports, • Track daily shipments, deliveries, and order status; proactively communicate updates to customers, • Receive, review, and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner, • Manage customer RMAs, returns, and issue resolution in coordination with Quality, Production, and Logistics, • Communicate professionally with customers regarding order status, delivery timing, documentation, and issues, • Coordinate shipping schedules and special customer requirements, • Maintain accurate customer and order records in SAP and internal systems, • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) with customer follow-ups and collections, • Organize completed materials according to customer specificationsSales & Customer Relationship Support, • Support Sales Managers with customer communication and follow-ups, • Reach out to existing customers regarding repeat orders or additional needs, • Assist with customer visits when required, • Attend industry trade shows, exhibits, and sector events as needed, • Support preparation of customer-facing materials (non-digital, non-campaign-based)Qualifications & Requirements, • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred, • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, order management, or sales support, • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets, and operational data, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), • SAP experience is a plus, • Ability to work in a plant/office environment and follow safety requirements, • Willingness to attend occasional trade shows or customer visitsWork Environment, • Work is conducted in a manufacturing plant environment that may be loud and involve moving mechanical parts, • Must adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, • Occasional exposure to vibration, noise, and industrial conditions The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00/hr.
