Strength Coach wanted for Small-Group Personal Training studio. A-Team Strength is looking for a qualified strength coach to join our staff and help lead our morning training sessions. We are a private fitness studio that specializes in powerlifting-style training in a small group setting. Clients receive individualized programming and train in groups of 2-4 in our ~1000sqft space. Candidates must be certified and have some experience with coaching either 1-on-1 or small groups. Some experience with barbell training is also required, with special preference to candidates with competitive powerlifting or other strength sport experience. The hours we are looking to fill immediately are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings, so availability on those days is a requirement. There is also potential for growth into other time slots. Once hired, the first 3-4 weeks would serve as the on-boarding period, during which you would learn our systems, policies, and protocols, meet our current members, shadow during training sessions, and begin working as an assistant coach. We serve a diverse range of clients and have fostered an inclusive environment that serves as a "third place" to people of all backgrounds, races, genders, identities, and social standings. It is crucial that the right candidate be able to maintain and uphold this culture of openness and welcoming in our gym. If you'd like to learn more, please apply for the position and you'll be contacted for an introduction call.
