Job Description POSITION: FAMILY PARTNER REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF BRIDGES FAMILY SUCCESS CENTER LOCATION: Englewood, NJ FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt SUMMARY OF POSITION The Family Partner is responsible for engaging and partnering with families, individuals, and community members to promote family well-being, strengthen protective factors, and support families in achieving self-identified goals. The Family Partner provides voluntary, prevention-focused support through information, education, referrals, family activities, community resources, advocacy, and connections to informal and formal supports. Family Partners establish trusting relationships with families and community partners and serve as a welcoming presence at the Family Success Center and throughout the community. Responsibilities include conducting Welcome Tours, providing information and referrals, facilitating and supporting family and parent-child activities, conducting outreach and family recruitment, supporting parent leadership, assisting with community events, and connecting families to resources that promote stability and well-being. The Family Partner works collaboratively with the Volunteer/Community Partnership Coordinator and other FSC staff to support meaningful parent engagement and leadership opportunities. The Family Partner also assists in identifying community needs and developing programs and activities that respond to the interests and priorities of families QUALIFICATIONS Education • Associates and or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Family Studies, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred. Experience • Minimum of two years of experience working with children, families, individuals, and/or communities in a human services, family support, prevention, education, or related setting preferred., • Experience engaging families and/or facilitating community-based programs preferred., • Experience working with diverse populations and communities preferred. Credentials • Valid New Jersey driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle. Special Requirements • Must be willing and able to attend required trainings, meetings, conferences, and professional development activities, including occasional activities outside of the local area., • Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Spanish. TECHNICAL SKILLS • Ability to accurately document family contacts, services, participation, referrals, and outcomes using our intake forms., • Proficiency in using Microsoft 365, Canva, Excel, and AI tools. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Work is performed in a Family Success Center, community, and other program or partner locations., • Regular interaction with children, families, community members, staff, and community partners., • May require standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and moving throughout program and community spaces., • May require participation in and assistance with family activities, community events, outreach activities, and program setup., • May require occasional outdoor work and travel within the community and to trainings, meetings, conferences, and other program-related activities., • Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. WORK SCHEDULE • Employment Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week, • Typically, Monday through Friday during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with flexibility based on organizational needs, • Occasional early morning, evening, and weekend hours may be required to support program needs or organizational events COMPENSATION • Annual Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000, • Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications., • Eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, vacation time, and sick time, • Eligible for professional development and training opportunities
