Security Officer Responsibilities Security Officers may perform a combination of the following duties depending on site needs: 1.     Line Cook — Mishik | Hudson Square, NYC Overview Join the culinary team at Mishik, a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Hudson Square, New York City. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Line Cook who takes pride in preparing high-quality food, maintaining consistency, and working as part of a professional kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for Japanese cuisine, strong cooking fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position is ideal for a cook who is eager to contribute to a high-quality kitchen while continuing to develop their culinary skills. A minimum of 2 years of professional line-cooking experience is required. Duties • Prepare and execute menu items according to Mishik’s recipes, standards, and plating specifications., • Work efficiently and accurately across assigned stations during service., • Maintain consistent quality, portion control, presentation, and timing throughout each shift., • Complete daily prep, including cutting, portioning, sauces, stocks, and other components as assigned., • Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times., • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation throughout service., • Communicate effectively with the Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members during busy services., • Properly label, date, rotate, and store ingredients according to restaurant standards., • Monitor food quality and communicate any shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to management., • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries and maintaining appropriate inventory levels., • Support other kitchen stations and team members as needed., • Follow all recipes, kitchen procedures, and standards consistently., • Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as required. Requirements • Minimum 2 years of professional line-cooking experience required., • Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, Japanese restaurant, or fine-dining environment preferred., • Strong understanding of professional kitchen procedures and cooking techniques., • Interest in and familiarity with Japanese cuisine is a plus., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail., • Strong communication and teamwork skills., • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately and consistently., • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards., • Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic., • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding kitchen duties., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Warehouse Worker to support warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, and receiving activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining an organized and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries and trucks. Inspect, verify, and receive incoming merchandise accurately. Prepare customer and delivery orders by processing requests and pulling materials. Pack, stage, and organize products for shipment or delivery. Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory control activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Keep shelves, pallet areas, and workstations orderly at all times. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certification is required.
