Job Description Summary: Safe Horizon’s Family Focused Program provides comprehensive trauma-informed client-centered services to families who are affected by intimate partner violence and are involved in the child welfare system. Our goal is help those who have experienced physical, emotional or other forms of abuse to establish long-term safety and healing from the effects of trauma. Safe Horizon uses a client centered, trauma informed, anti-oppressive approach to supporting clients. Responsibilities: The Senior Therapeutic Case Planner provides both practical advocacy services and support to domestic violence survivors, their children and the person causing harm (separately). Job Description Summary StreetWork Project is the oldest street outreach program for homeless and street-involved youth in New York City. The program has grown from its beginnings in 1984 as a storefront project to encompass both outreach and comprehensive harm reduction services. Streetwork’s programs are innovative outreach-counseling programs for homeless youth, which use a harm reduction, client centered, and trauma informed approach. Services include counseling, HIV prevention, case management, drop-in, daily living services, meals, groups, legal services, syringe exchange and overdose prevention services, mental health, and medical. The core service is long-term, one-on-one counseling, which is offered in a non-judgmental and holistic manner utilizing a harm reduction approach that focuses on building trust, fostering self-esteem, exploring options and choices, and empowering youth to change their high-risk behaviors. The Streetwork Overnight is a 24-bed facility for homeless youth ages 16-21. Services include: counseling, case management, meals, laundry, showers, support groups, and access to medical and psychiatric care. Job Description Summary: Safe Horizon manages a 5-year grant by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to raise the standard of care for traumatized children in New York City. REACH focuses on school-aged children and older through the implementation of anti-oppressive, age-appropriate trauma interventions. The Director SAMHSA Child Trauma Initiatives is responsible for integrating the staff development and direct service components of REACH to facilitate their implementation in Safe Horizon’s child trauma cluster which includes our Safe Horizon Counseling Center (SHCC), Child Advocacy Centers (CACs), Child Trauma Response Team (CTRT), and Safe Way Forward (SWF) program. The Director will continue to serve as Principal Investigator (PI) of REACH initiative. They will be responsible for the activities of the program to provide all our clients, school-age children up to age 17 and their families, with a service experience while maintaining data collection systems, evaluation programs, and maintaining full compliance with all federal regulations and reporting requirements for the program The Director also ensures the implementation of effective evaluation measures and completion of all client-level assessments and data gathering that is required for REACH. Job Description Trauma Counselor Summary: Safe Horizon’s Safe Way forward program provides comprehensive trauma-informed client-centered services to families who are affected by intimate partner violence and are involved in the child welfare system. Job Description Summary: The Criminal Court program provides a safe reception center and various services to assist survivors and victims of crime navigate through the Criminal Court. The program provides counseling, crisis intervention, case management services, advocacy, information and referrals and practical assistance to survivors and victims of crime with an overall goal of promoting survivor safety and reducing the impact of victimization. The Coordinator is responsible for providing holistic support services to victims of all crimes. Job Description Reporting to the Associate Vice President External Communications, the Director Marketing is responsible for the organization’s marketing and branding efforts. Essential Job Functions: • Develop and maintain an Enterprise Information Security Program, • Design a critical response process for Cyber Security incidents, • Identify, report and control Cyber Security incidents, • Manage and train Information Security staff and develop and deliver Information Security training to the Bank’s employees, • Continuously monitor threats to the Bank’s operating environment, • Approve and administer identity access policies, • Maintain a current understanding of the IT and Cyber Security threat landscape for the industry, • Ensure Bank compliance with relevant Information Security laws and applicable regulations, • Lead, and assess the results of periodic security tests, including internal and external penetration testing and phishing, • Schedule table-top exercises for Crisis Team and senior management and report findings to management, including implementation of recommendations, • Review and approve Information Security policies, procedures and controls, • Ensure that they are kept current and are communicated to staff/consultants, • Ensure staff/vendor compliance with the Bank’s security policies and procedures, • Manage a team of employees, contractors and vendors involved in Information Security, • Brief the Executive Team on status and risks, overall strategy and necessary budget, • Communicate best practices and risks to the Bank, • Perform a risk assessment of the Bank’s vulnerabilities in the Cybersecurity landscape and develop the Bank’s risk appetite for Information Security, • Develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and dashboard metrics reporting to both the Management Team and the Board of Directors, • Establish strong working relationships with the Heads of IT and business lines, • Develop and present quarterly reports to the Board of Directors. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements: • Master’s degree or equivalent experience, • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience, at least five (5) years focused on managing information security in a complex, matrixed environment, • Extensive experience in regulated industries, especially financial services; banking experience is preferred, • Proven ability to create and maintain enterprise-level information security programs, • Motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving and root cause analysis skills, • Ability to work on multiple, time-critical projects simultaneously, • Knowledge of Data Privacy Laws, • Working knowledge of information security engineering concepts and principles, • Familiarity with DFS 500 and similar regulations, • Experience working with external regulators, including NY DFS and FDIC, • Excellent verbal and written communications, including presentation of complex data in easily, understood ways, • Ability to confidently interact at multiple levels in the organization and lead cross-departmental team projects, • Experience presenting to senior levels, including Board of Directors, • CISSP, CISA or CISM designations preferred Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $240,000.00 – $260,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. Job Description Purpose of Position: Responsible for the successful daily operations of the Small Business and Retail Online Services area. Develop online services supporting all the Bank’s market segments to maintain competitiveness in the banking industry. Establish and implement appropriate department controls and reconcilement procedures. To manage all aspects of Wire Transfer processing including Risk Management. Ensure the Electronic Banking Department is compliant with Bank policies pertaining to wire transfers. Essential Job Functions: • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies relating to system issues., • Develop online services to maintain competitiveness in the industry. Establish and implement appropriate department controls and reconcilement, • Perform daily audits of internal Bank departments to verify compliance., • Reconcile daily money and wire transfer totals., • Monitor related sub-systems, interfaces and schedules for the successful operation of all products., • Assist in testing new product functionality and all upgrades., • Review legal agreement, initial set-up and implementation for new Small Business clients., • Provide maintenance for existing Small Business Clients., • Create client profiles in various systems., • Process files and run reports for the AB Online product., • Prepare attendance sheet and set schedules., • Monitor the Bank’s monetary status at the Federal Reserve and report any discrepancies to senior management for further action., • Reconcile daily money and wire transfer totals also.
