Make a difference as a Pest Control Technician As a Pest Control Technician at Select Exterminating, your main mission revolves around inspecting properties for signs of pest infestations, utilizing your keen eye and expertise to identify problem areas effectively. Armed with eco-friendly treatment methods, you tackle pest challenges head-on, ensuring unwanted guests are eliminated swiftly. This role goes beyond simply combating pests-it's about forging lasting relationships with customers. Your strong work ethic and friendly demeanor make you a trusted ally, as you provide reassurance and expert advice throughout the process. In this position, you're not just a technician; you are a skilled problem solver, a protector of homes, and a beacon of customer satisfaction dedicated to excellence in pest control service. What you need to be successful To excel as a Pest Control Technician at Select Exterminating, a blend of technical skills and experience is essential. A valid NY Pest Control license is preferred (but not required), demonstrating your knowledge of effective pest management strategies. Previous pest control experience is a must, as it equips you with the insights needed to identify and resolve infestations efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be building relationships with customers and providing them with expert advice. Finally, a customer-centric approach, coupled with a problem-solving mindset, will ensure you deliver top-notch service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in every pest control interaction. Pay Range: $22-28/hr Availability/Shifts: Overnights Knowledge and skills for the position are: • NY Pest Control license (preferred)

Qualifications What do you need to be successful? • No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro!, • High School Diploma or equivalent required, • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid), • Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers, • We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws. What will my work environment be like?
