American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Jersey City, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, days, • Work in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab providing both cardiac and neuro interventional procedures, • Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, • Call and every third weekend coverage are required, • Patient population includes adult cardiac and neurovascular cases, • Specialized procedures performed include LHC, RHC, pericardiocentesis, Cardiomems, Impella and IABP insertion, TAVR, mitral clips, PFO, AICD placement, PPM, EPS, ablations, LAAC, cerebral and carotid angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy, • Charting is done using Epic EMR, • Responsibilities include performing and assisting with a broad range of cardiac and neurovascular interventional procedures, • Must be able to work required holidays as determined by the unit, • Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers, • RWJBH former staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be eligible for travel assignments, • Scrub attire required\n \n Requirements\n, • Active NJ or Compact state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable), • RCIS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required, • Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience is required and 2 years preferred, • Previous hospital Cath Lab experience required, • Experience with both interventional cardiac and neurovascular procedures required, • Epic EMR experience preferred, • First-time travelers are not accepted, • Background and license must be clear of open or active issues\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
