American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Irving, Texas. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: MRI Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/05/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Work in an imaging department specializing in MRI procedures, • Schedule consists of 3x12 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, • Assignment is 13 weeks in duration, • Uses Siemens scanners and Epic EMR (Epic experience preferred), • Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to established exam protocols, • Communicates effectively with patients and families about procedures and ensures safety protocols are followed, • Maintains equipment and supplies, follows infection control and sterile techniques, and ensures department safety standards, • Responsible for accurate recordkeeping and documentation in the appropriate systems, • Will work with all age groups including newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients, • May be expected to serve as a preceptor and provide training to new team members, • Black scrubs are required\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 5 years of MRI technologist experience, • Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required, • BLS certification through AHA required, • Siemens scanner experience highly preferred, • Epic electronic medical record experience preferred, • Must have an active TX license as required by the profession (license required if applicable), • Flu shot is mandatory during flu season (August-November), with no exemptions granted, • Two professional references required, • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
