Job Description We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time Perinatologist - Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to provide daytime coverage at our locations in Greenwich, CT, White Plains, and Rye, NY. This role does not involve hospital coverage. The physician will be tasked with delivering comprehensive clinical care to all patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, and preventive health maintenance. Key Responsibilities • Gather medical, social, and developmental histories of patients., • Conduct physical examinations and administer immunizations., • Diagnose conditions and formulate treatment plans collaboratively with patients., • Manage both acute and chronic health issues., • Provide health education and counseling, promoting preventive health practices., • Prescribe medications and delegate immunization tasks to clinical support staff as permitted by regulations., • Initiate necessary laboratory, radiology, and pathology tests, as well as specialty consultations., • Review and follow up on incoming reports promptly., • Exercise clinical judgment to prioritize medical care and refer high-risk or complex cases to specialists., • Collaborate with department managers and other providers to implement clinical policies that ensure state-of-the-art medical care., • Supervise assigned advanced practice providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) as applicable., • Assist in training and orienting new providers and clinical support staff., • Promote a professional and collaborative work environment among team members., • Maintain active licensure in New York or Connecticut and all necessary credentials for medical practice., • Manage services in line with established organizational policies and medical guidelines., • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical projects as needed, collaborating with other healthcare team members.Required Qualifications, • Medical Degree with an active Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) license in New York or Connecticut., • Board Certification and an active DEA license., • BLS and ACLS certification., • Ability to work effectively within a clinical team., • Demonstrated professional integrity and ethical conduct., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective conflict resolution abilities., • Patient-centered approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care.
