Job DescriptionSalary: starting at $60,000 per year inclusive of commission Woods Machinery is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Parts Coordinator / Parts Counter Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our parts department, assisting customers with finding the right components for their needs and contributing to the overall success of our business. Key Responsibilities: • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, by phone, text, or email with professionalism, urgency, and product knowledge. Provide accurate information and solutions to meet customer needs., • Parts Identification & Sales: Identify, source, and recommend correct parts and accessories based on equipment details, specifications, and applications. Upsell additional products and services to meet or exceed sales goals., • Order Processing: Accurately enter and process parts orders, ensuring proper pricing, documentation, and timely fulfillment for both retail and internal service department needs., • Inventory Management: Maintain organized and accurate parts inventory, including performing regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with full inventory audits. Ensure shelves and displays are stocked and clean., • Shipping & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and completeness. Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders with correct documentation and freight posting., • Service Department Support: Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to supply required parts for work orders. Ensure prompt communication to minimize equipment downtime., • Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers to source hard-to-find or special-order parts, track order status, and resolve discrepancies or delays., • Product Knowledge & Training: Stay informed about new products, manufacturer programs, and industry trends. Participate in training sessions to enhance product expertise., • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of invoices, orders, and returns. Follow all company policies for warranty claims, returns, and credits., • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other counter staff, warehouse personnel, and managers to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
