Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 09/08/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Job Title:Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiology (Contract) Location: New York, NY 10029 Department: Radiology Diagnostic Nursing Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (4x10-hour shifts/week) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,834.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,114.00 Per Week Job Summary : The Clinical Nurse in the Radiology Department is a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) who delivers safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients. This role incorporates nursing theory, research, and clinical expertise to manage patients undergoing radiological procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Patient Care • Deliver high-quality patient care using the Relationship Centered Care model., • Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluate care needs., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans., • Educate patients and families on care plans and health promotion., • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including patients, families, and team members., • Model behaviors consistent with Mount Sinai’s values and care standards., • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families., • Lead patient-centered communication efforts, including bedside reporting and purposeful rounding., • Practice safe, efficient care with a focus on continuous improvement., • Escalate safety issues or practice deviations using proper protocols., • Take on charge nurse duties as assigned., • Manage unit resources and escalate shortages appropriately., • Support and participate in professional learning and shared governance., • Demonstrate ethical practice and professional image., • Education:, • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, • Associate Degree in Nursing considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program, • Certifications:, • NYS Registered Nurse License (Active), • BLS (Basic Life Support), • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), • Experience:, • Minimum 2 years of RN experience, • Minimum 2 years of ambulatory and radiation safety experience, • 1 year of travel RN experience (for travel roles only), • ICU or Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
