Nurses provide patient-centered care with a staffing ratio of 1:6 and are responsible for managing diverse adult medical conditions. The unit emphasizes the Relationship-Centered Care model and prioritizes patient experience, safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration. RNs in this role must be prepared to float between Mount Sinai Hospital and/or Mount Sinai West as needed. Strong med-surg clinical skills, excellent communication, and commitment to evidence-based practice are essential.
