Job Description Duties • You will serve as coordinator and facilitator of various programs and services., • You will provide individual and group education, training, information, and referrals., • You will apply analytical methods and techniques to evaluate the customer base and identify needs, trends, and performance measures to evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for process improvements., • You will provide education and training to a variety of audiences., • You will conduct interviews with clients to assess the customer's needs and concerns (e.g., relocation, mobilization and deployment readiness, career and employment readiness, financial readiness, personal and family life readiness, etc.)., • You will use computer hardware and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, databases, copiers, laptops, printers, etc.)., • You will develop and distribute marketing materials., • You will compose clear and concise reports and documents., • You will establish and maintain professional relationships with management, staff, clients, and personnel., • You will monitor and track program usage and trends, capture data in approved database repositories, and ensure quality customer service and client satisfaction., • You will deliver services through various mediums (e.g., virtually, webinar, video, email, phone, ship aboard, groups, one-on-one, classes, consultations, social media, etc.)., • You will perform other duties at the discretion and direction of leadership. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal., • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases., • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, implementing, and administering family life services and activities to support military members, retirees, and their families; 2) Developing activities, programs, and services to improve the quality of life for community members regarding their career, social, financial, health, and community concerns; 3) Providing training and information on a variety of programs for the purpose of communicating available resources (e.g., financial, life transitions, deployment, stress, career, PCS, etc.); 4) Collaborating with military members, leaders, personnel, and community members to deliver services, manage events, activities, and programs.
