Job Description This role supports all administrative and compliance functions related to tenants receiving Section 8 and other government housing subsidies. This role manages tenant documentation, coordinates with Housing Authorities, oversees renewals and inspections, and ensures accurate tenant account processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with legal processes, tenant correspondence, and government agencies. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, mail, and track monthly lease renewals for tenants and Housing Authorities, ensuring all required documents are included., • Run monthly reports related to landlord–tenant filings and ensure documentation is accurate and complete., • Reconcile tenant accounts, monitor payment activity, and resolve discrepancies., • Prepare and mail required CARES Act and VAWA forms to all designated parties., • Notify Housing Authorities of all legal actions, status changes, and required updates., • File non-payment cases in court and monitor tenant accounts to determine if cases should be dismissed., • Attend landlord–tenant court proceedings as needed., • Monitor stipulations and initiate warrant orders when applicable., • Process daily Housing Authority portion letters and coordinate corrections with Housing Authority contacts., • Mail monthly housing overpayment notices and handle related correspondence., • Complete documentation and requests for tenants seeking arrears assistance., • Address work orders assigned through the customer service representative team. Qualifications & Skills • Experience with Section 8 or other government-subsidized housing programs preferred., • Strong understanding of landlord–tenant processes and general legal documentation., • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency with property management or leasing software preferred., • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
