The Receptionist greets and assists visitors, manages a multi-line phone system, coordinates schedules, and supports daily office operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner., • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system., • Schedule appointments and manage calendars using scheduling software, including Tebra, as needed., • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages promptly and accurately., • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and waiting area at all times., • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, scanning, and copying., • Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth and efficient office operations., • Maintain accurate visitor logs and follow established office security and check-in procedures., • Respond to general inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner., • Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient and office information., • Strong customer service skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor., • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities., • Proven organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively., • Ability to multitask and remain calm and courteous under pressure in a fast-paced environment., • Discretion and confidentiality when working with sensitive and private information., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Google Workspace., • Experience using a multi-line phone system., • Scheduling and calendar management experience., • Basic data entry and accurate record-keeping skills., • Experience in a front desk or receptionist role, particularly in a healthcare setting., • Comfort working in a plastic surgery or medical office environment., • Experience with Tebra or similar scheduling software., • Strong customer-service mindset with a friendly and approachable attitude. This role is based in a plastic surgery office that operates in a professional, fast-paced healthcare setting. The Receptionist works at the front desk and interacts frequently with patients, visitors, and clinical staff throughout the day. The environment involves regular use of computers, a multi-line phone system, scheduling software, and standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers. The reception and waiting areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization to support a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The position typically follows standard office hours aligned with clinic operations, and attire is expected to be professional to reflect the high level of service and care provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scarsdale, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
