WHAT YOU’LL DO The Boat Attendant is responsible for providing all Members and guests with a safe and pleasant environment within which to utilize the Club’s watercraft equipment. This will be accomplished through the regular monitoring and maintenance of watercraft equipment, management of equipment rentals, and enforcement of Club and safety policies. WHAT YOU'LL NEED The Boat Attendant must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Beach Club Manager and/or Aquatics Supervisors, including but not limited to: • Set-up all watercraft equipment at start of day, ensuring all equipment is available, functional and accessible for Members and guests, • Communicate proper use techniques of all watercraft equipment to all Members and guests, • Maintain equipment logbook, ensuring proper use documentation in accordance with team and Club policies, • Enforce all safety and Club policies, including proper use of watercraft equipment, • Manage equipment rentals, assuring availability and maintaining proper documentation and records, • Secure and store all watercraft equipment safely at end of day, • New York State Boating Safety Certificate, • Must have ability to swim, • Knowledge of CPR and First Aid procedures a plus, • Must be 16 years of age or older, and 17 years of age or older to operate motor boat, • Prior experience with kayaks, paddle boards, Hobie Cat and/or Sunfish strongly preferred, • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests, • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays, • Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service, • Must have ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions, • Must have ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation, • Must adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures $17.00 - $22.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience WHAT WE OFFER At WCC, we believe that our biggest strength lies in the exceptional people who work for our organization to deliver memorable experiences to our members and their families. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Seasonal Food & Beverage Attendant. The Food & Beverage Attendant will be responsible for providing Members and guests with a seamless and superior customer service experience at the assigned Food & Beverage outlet. This role will be integral in assuring the operational success of the assigned outlet, completing assignments in a timely and friendly manner in order to assure all orders and requests are received and processed to the highest standards. The Food & Beverage Attendant will be trained across all Beach Club Food & Beverage outlets (Ice Cream Shop, Snack Bar, Beach Grill, Floor) and will rotate assigned locations based on business needs. WHAT YOU'LL DO The Food & Beverage Attendant must complete all tasks and assignments as assigned by the management team, including but not limited to: • Welcome Members and guests to Food & Beverage outlets, • Respond to Member and guest inquiries, providing timely and effective assistance, • Operate outlet register, taking and inputting orders and relaying to kitchen, • Ensure that all orders meet proper presentation and quality standards, • Deliver completed orders in a timely manner, package take-out orders as needed, • Assist in plating of food items for service, and assist Culinary team as needed, • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Food & Beverage outlet, assuring all safety, sanitation and food handling standards are properly met, • Clean outlet preparation and/or serving equipment according to the highest sanitary standards, • Provide support to team members, assisting when necessary to ensure Member and guest orders/requests are received and processed in a timely fashion, • Prior experience in a customer service, hospitality, food & beverage, or similar setting a plus, • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members, and guests, • Must be customer service minded, • Must possess the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask, • Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends, holidays and special events as needed, • This role works primarily within assigned Beach Club Food & Beverage Also must work across various Beach Club areas and outlets as needed.
