Job Description Shore Point Distributing Company, one of New Jersey’s largest beverage wholesalers, is expanding our team and has an immediate opening for a motivated individual to join the company as a Non Alc Outside Sales Representative. We are a family-owned beverage distributor located in Freehold, NJ, carrying an extensive portfolio of Beers, Wine, Spirits, and Non-alcoholic beverages throughout the state. Job Description A Non Alc Outside Sales Representative is responsible for implementing in-person sales strategies and initiatives to drive growth within an assigned territory. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing order replenishment with attention to quality assurance, proactively strengthening customer relationships, and executing sales plans. The representative serves as the face of Shore Point, promoting product knowledge and driving sales performance through direct customer engagement. Success in this role directly impacts customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and overall sales results. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Reports To: Region Manager / Non Alc Operations Manager Key Responsibilities • Represent, solicit, and present the full product portfolio across all assigned accounts., • Execute sales plans and programs effectively, including communicating pricing and promotions, and coordinating merchandising in alignment with supplier and distributor standards., • Utilize available tools, technology, and resources to drive sales growth., • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within each account., • Manage daily account activity, including call-ins, backorders, and online portal submissions, ensuring accurate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock situations and quality issues., • Ensure compliance with product code date standards and quality control per supplier agreements using tools such as account inventory tracking, pickup & move procedures, and inventory rotation., • Maintain a consistent sales route and visit schedule., • Serve as a mentor to the relief sales representative., • Prepare and submit sales reports, key metrics, and surveys promptly; monitor receivables and manage account credits., • Ensure all assigned property is maintained in good condition and compliant with company standards., • Maintain all required company documentation, including permits, invoices, sampling logs, and sample stickers., • Clean driving record and reliable transportation., • Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience., • Minimum of 1 year of customer service/sales experience., • Ability to multi-task and handle administrative tasks with high attention to detail., • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly demanding environment., • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. This position offers a competitive weekly base salary with scheduled annual increases, a weekly portion of the Pay-for-Performance (PFP) bonus, and the opportunity to earn additional compensation through monthly objectives set by the company and suppliers.
