Our culture is grounded in five core values: • Excellence, • Teamwork, • Health, • Growth The Account Manager focuses on client retention, benefit administration, and policy implementation, while also supporting new business growth within existing accounts. This is a full-time, salaried position with bonus opportunities tied to performance. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with employer clients, • Communicate professionally via phone, email, in person, and digital platforms, • Serve as a primary point of contact for employer benefits questions and support, • Implement and renew employer-sponsored insurance policies, • Present and explain Section 125 Plans, Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), and plan documents, • Generate and maintain benefit plan documentation, • Communicate policy changes, renewals, and coverage adjustments to clients, • Solicit, present, and negotiate new business opportunities within existing accounts, • Create client-facing educational materials and benefits literature, • Conduct employee benefit enrollment meetings, • Prepare and process policy documents accurately, • Maintain organized, compliant client records, • Document conversations and ensure timely follow-up, • Attend networking events, educational seminars, and industry functions on behalf of the companySkills & Qualifications, • High School Diploma or equivalent required, • Active Texas Health & Life Insurance License or ability to obtain within 60 days, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively, • Coachable with the ability to receive and apply feedback, • Strong work ethic and proactive approach to responsibilities, • Professional, client-focused mindsetCompensation & Benefits, • Base Salary: $40,500 – $55,000 (commensurate with experience), • Performance-based bonus opportunities, • Paid Time Off (PTO), • Medical Insurance, • Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance (per Employee Handbook)Why Join Buffer Insurance, • Stable, full-time role with growth potential, • Values-driven, supportive team environment, • Opportunity to work closely with employer clients and make a real impact, • Long-term career path in employer benefits and group insurance
