Job DescriptionWe’re seeking an organized and highly motivated insurance account manager to join our growing team. Responsibilities include managing client communications, nurturing key relationships, and keeping track of all necessary documentation, paying close attention to any policy changes, important deadlines, and legal regulations. You will help customers understand their coverage, assist them with any claims as needed, and ensure all relevant data is properly tracked in our secured systems. Start your application today!Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Support clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all documentation needed to give to the adjuster to process, • Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed to current policies, • Update policy changes on customer accounts in our book of business and inform clients about policy changes according to NAIC regulations, • Meet regularly with agents to keep up with industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers, so you can assist clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team with understanding and addressing the newest rules and policy updates, • Give clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understandingQualifications:, • Active insurance license in your state or willing to get licensed in 90 days, • Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.), • Follow up skill, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills are a must in this role, • Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is highly preferred but candidates with the appropriate skills should still apply, training is provided, • We are looking for candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience, as well, • MBA or previous management/team-building experience (Required), • Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time management skills, • Ambitious, disciplined leaders who demonstrate the utmost professionalism, • Relationship building and networking abilities, exemplary interpersonal skills, • Coachable and the ability to work in a team-based environment, • J.D. (attorney) or M.B.A. is a Strong plus, • Sales experience is not required, but is a plus, • FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65, or 66, a plus (company will pay for sponsorship for the right candidate), • Life & Health Insurance License not required (company will pay for sponsorship), • Financial Industry background is a plus; however, financial or insurance sales experience is not required, • Personal Transportation will be required for this position, • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent residentAbout Company About New York Life...
