You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with OSHA, FSMA, and GMP standards. This role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. How you'll make an impact * Team Leadership & Scheduling: Lead a team of Cleaning & Sanitation Associates to ensure efficient cleaning operations. Develop and implement daily/weekly sanitation schedules to ensure full facility coverage. * Training & Mentorship: Train sanitation staff on proper cleaning methods, chemical safety, and SOPs. Verify that staff are competent in operating equipment, including floor scrubbers, forklifts, and scissor lifts. * Inspection & Auditing: regularly inspect and monitor cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Conduct regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement. * Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, PPE, and chemicals; order replacements as needed to prevent shortages. * Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all cleaning equipment (PIVs, scrubbers) is properly maintained, charged, and in good working order. Report mechanical issues to maintenance immediately. * Safety & Compliance: Work closely with Quality Assurance and Health & Safety to ensure strict adherence to HACCP, allergen control, and GMP protocols. Ensure proper waste management and hazardous material disposal. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning logs, chemical usage, and staff training as required for regulatory inspections (FDA, SQF, etc.). * Schedule Flexibility: Must be flexible to work different shifts. This position follows a four-day shift either day or overnight based on business needs.
