Our Network Office team supports those Advisors and provides the critical systems & resources needed for them to achieve their entrepreneurial dream. The Bookkeeper position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting function of the office, which includes network office risk and wealth management revenue and expense components. This includes the financial functioning of both the network office and district offices within the agency. Responsibilities • Be the primary point of contact for Network Office & District Network Office advisor compensation and financial account related inquires., • Generate credit card transaction templates and work with credit card holders to categorize expenses, gather receipts, and supply expense business purpose statements., • Liaison between the Centralized Accounting Services team and the Network/District Offices., • Ensure Commissions charges are accurately charged on a bi-monthly basis for Network and District Office(s)., • Own the management of accounts payable and filing of bills for CAS payment processing and oversee vendor relationships., • Process and administer 401k payments/contributions for all enrolled staff members., • Own the physical printing of checks for financial representatives and accounts payable., • Serve as the point person for finance department mail received and sent and finance office supplies., • Manage accounts receivable: Monitor financial representative indebtedness, process collection as necessary and bring forth debt write off recommendation to CFO., • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting for information., • 1099 processing and mailing., • Ensure loans are accurately processed and requested between all network and district office levels. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience., • 0-5 years of experience in a position that involved processing and/or working with financial transactions for bookkeeping purposes, preferably in a financial services organization., • Proven Finance experience or training., • Ability to be led and work collectively in a fast-paced team environment., • High degree of initiative., • Superior written and oral communication skills., • Demonstrated use of time management and organizational skills., • Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions., • Knowledge of computer technology, hardware and software including Microsoft Excel., • Ability to be diplomatic, flexible and open minded.
