Description We are seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer who will manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission. The successful candidate will serve as a Lead Engineer and Technical Project Manager on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems for some of the largest utilities in the country as well as regional utilities. The candidate will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of all types of capital and maintenance projects from 34.5 kV to 765 kV. The successful candidate will care for patients receiving cellular immunotherapies (such as CAR T-cells), including pre- and post-infusion, develop clinical standards and guidelines for patients receiving these therapies, and provide oversight of clinical operations and clinical research related to cellular immunotherapies for pediatric oncology patients. They will collaborate with investigators at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the NCI-designated Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICC) to develop and/or participate in PI-initiated clinical trials of novel immunotherapeutic treatments, and will be expected to oversee a robust pediatric clinical trials portfolio that will also include consortium and industry-sponsored trials.
