🚨 New Role – Senior Technical Project Manager 🚨 We’re seeking an External Technical Project Manager to lead high-impact, customer-facing enterprise software deployments for a public safety technology organization leveraging AI to help law enforcement protect communities. You’ll be embedded with one of their clients in the NYC area, managing projects from planning through go-live. 💼 Position Details: • Location: Hybrid – 3x/week onsite at client location in Queens, NY, • Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base + $10K bonus + stock options, • Travel: ~35% (primarily local to the NYC region), • Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder – sponsorship is not available., • Interview Process:, • Virtual interview – Director of TA, • Virtual interview – Director of Professional Services, • Virtual interview – EVP of Investigative Services, • Offer Key Responsibilities • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of customer software projects with full ownership of outcomes., • Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and plans, aligning with business and customer objectives., • Serve as the primary customer point of contact, managing expectations, risks, and escalations., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Professional Services, and Support teams., • Oversee contract requirements, scope, change control, and quality metrics., • Conduct requirements gathering, design sessions, training, and go-live events with stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years in project/program management within software (public safety, SaaS, or enterprise software preferred)., • Proven external client-facing experience, able to communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and business users., • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation., • Vendor management expertise for coordinating third-party suppliers and partners., • Familiarity with AI-related projects and enterprise software deployment processes., • Strong forecasting, budgeting, and cross-team coordination skills., • PMP or PgMP certification is strongly preferred.
