Job Description Position Summary Must have availability and able to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. Food and beverage supervisors are responsible for the daily operations of businesses that prepare and serve food and drinks to customers in the restaurants and Sky Boxes, in Simulcast, in the Food Court. Food and beverage supervisors oversee all of the issues pertaining to a patron's dining experience, such as quality control, staff management, inventory, health and safety regulations and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Food and beverage supervisors are generally responsible for all of the business operations of a dining establishment. · Duties typically include training, scheduling and managing employees as overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and other restaurant equipment. · Supervisors are also responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service and making sure the business complies with health and food safety regulations. • Supervisors also oversee food preparation, food storage and dining areas, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulation and health codes., • In addition, they often have responsibility for the management of incoming funds and accounts payable. Qualification Requirements To successfully perform the duties of a food and beverage supervisor, individuals must possess a drive to provide exceptional customer service. Supervisors must be reliable and self-motivated. They must be excellent communicators to manage a team in a high-volume environment and carry out multiple tasks at the same time. Additionally, a degree of physical fitness is required, as many supervisors stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items. Education and/or Experience: While a four-year degree is not mandatory to land a food and beverage supervisor position, many employers prefer applicants that have a college education in hospitality management, food services management or a related field. Special Qualifications: Incumbent must be able to assist the Manager in as many ways as possible to make the restaurant run as smoothly as possible. Language Skills: Associate needs to be able to speak, write and read English, and Spanish would be a plus. Mathematical Skills: The ability to add and subtract Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Incumbent needs to have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
