What You Bring Required: * Current RN license in good standing in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain). * Graduate of an accredited and approved nursing program; BSN preferred (and required where state regulations apply). * Minimum 2 years of recent, verifiable clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year in hospice, palliative care, or home care strongly preferred. * Prior supervisory or leadership experience (charge nurse, preceptor, team lead, or manager). * Strong clinical assessment, symptom management, and end-of-life care skills. * Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Comfort using basic PC systems for documentation and communication. Preferred: * Hospice IDG experience (working with physicians, social work, spiritual care, and other disciplines). * Experience with Medicare hospice regulations, CHAP standards, and electronic documentation. * Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing clinicians in a values-driven environment. Job Summary: The Cash Applications Specialist is the lead responsible for posting all incoming payments to correct patient accounts on a daily basis. Inputs and retrieves data from computer systems. Reconciles accounts daily. Applies payments to patient accounts accurately and efficiently. We are seeking a candidate with experience in medical payment posting. Essential Job Functions: • Post payments and make adjustments accurately based on contracted rates and patient’s individual health plans., • Retrieve payments from various provider portals., • Review electronic remittance advice posting (where applicable) for proper application to system records., • Adjust system reported Accounts Receivables (AR) balances to third-party EOBs through the payment posting process., • Read and interpret third-party explanation of benefits (EOB)., • Receive and complete requests from team members regarding missing checks and inaccurate postings., • Work with the Accounting Department to complete the month-end reconciliation process., • Report payment discrepancies., • Track and research unapplied cash and escalate to management as necessary., • Perform additional duties as assigned.
