Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for students with diverse disabilities in a high school setting located in Jamaica, NY. This contract position begins ASAP and spans the full 2025-2026 school year, offering a unique opportunity to impact the communication skills and academic success of young adults with complex needs. Responsibilities: • Deliver one-on-one speech-language therapy sessions, totaling 55 per week, primarily to students aged 14-21., • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy (CP), and other genetic disorders., • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students communication goals., • Monitor and document student progress regularly to inform intervention adjustments and meet compliance requirements., • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license applicable for school-based practice., • Demonstrated experience working with adolescents and young adults with disabilities, especially ASD and related conditions., • Ability to conduct effective 1:1 speech therapy sessions with a caseload of approximately 14-21 students., • Location: Jamaica, NY., • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (27.5 hours/week)., • Position Type: Contract for the full 2025-2026 school year.
