Job Description Speech Therapist LOCATION: Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon RATE: $38.00/hour to $44.12/hour (depending on experience) SHIFT: Per-Diem JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Director of Speech/Language Pathology, the Rehabilitation Director and the Staff Speech/Language Pathologist provides speech therapy to the residents. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work under the Director of Speech/Language Pathology to provide speech therapy to the residents Assist in screening, evaluating, and treatment of residents in accordance with comprehensive care planning Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: • Possess knowledge of age-specific developmental factors for adult and geriatric residents, • Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Language Hearing Association, • Must have a current New York State License as Speech/Language Pathologist, • Weekly Paychecks, • Referral Bonuses, • Peer Mentorship
