Position Overview The Assistant Director of Human Resources plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily HR operations, guiding HR staff, and partnering with hospital leadership to advance organizational goals. This individual will drive HR initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high‑quality HR services that support a positive, engaged, and high‑performing workforce. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Leadership • Oversee daily HR operations, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, HRIS/ADP management, and employee relations., • Lead, mentor, and develop HR team members to foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture., • Partner with hospital leadership to develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning • Manage full‑cycle recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent., • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives., • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless employee experience. Employee Relations & Performance Management • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans., • Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations, goal setting, and coaching., • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment. Compliance & HRIS Management • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements., • Oversee ADP payroll and HRIS operations, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and timely processing., • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support strategic decision‑making. Organizational Development & Change Management • Support organizational design initiatives and recommend process improvements to enhance HR operations., • Collaborate with senior leadership on change management efforts, HRIS enhancements, and HR data analytics., • Lead training, development, and engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational capability. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred., • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role., • Strong HR generalist background with expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development., • Hands‑on experience with ADP payroll and HRIS systems., • Proficiency with HR technologies such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Kronos, Dayforce, Paylocity, or similar platforms., • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills., • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
