Job Description Staff Management Group is seeking a Systems Specialist for our client in Somerset, NJ. Schedule: • 1st Shift: 7AM – 3:30PM Pay Rate: • $26 / hour Job Summary: Systems Specialist is an information technology specialist role within the NJ Plant, working directly with Plant automation systems, and software. Responsibilities will include installing and configuring hardware & software applications, troubleshooting technical issues, providing training, helping users analyze and resolve technical problems with our Warehouse Management System, prepare computer systems, and maintain WiFi & Ethernet network infrastructure (includes Alarm/Security/Manufacturing automation systems) throughout the Plant facility. Job Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and maintain plant WiFi & Ethernet network, including plant security systems (CCTV and Alarm) and associated hardware, • Support plant equipment such as Printers, Computers, Tablets, RF Scanners, TV displays, and other devices, including Asset Tracking, • Prepare and deploy computers for Plant new hires. Support current Plant users with computer / plant system issues., • On-board new plant users by coordinating user access/credentials to Warehouse Management System and other computer systems., • Procure new equipment or software licenses using approved vendors, • Assist in Training new users in our Plant systems, • Manage Internal and External Help Desk Tickets, • Develop test plans and procedures, including user acceptance for all new systems., • Support plant fulfillment automation systems as a subject matter expert, • Asset tracking for all hardware in the plant Job Requirements: • Associates degree in computer science, business, or a related field, • Advanced computer skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office suite / Google equivalent applications: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc, • Solid written/oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, • Collaborative, logical, objective, results-oriented, organized, strong analytical ability, • Proven ability to solve problems creatively, • Strong interpersonal skills.
