Job Description Qualifications: Associate degree preferred, and/or two years of related work experience. Strong interpersonal, public speaking and writing skills, and strong organizational skills including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Strong attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Regional travel and occasional evening or weekend work. A valid New York State driver's license. Food industry experience preferred. Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing and/or bending, listening, talking and/or visual concentration, writing and/or computer use. This position would normally have routine opportunities for the employee to be able to alter their physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 40 pounds. Position Summary: Responsible for providing support in all areas of the Food Industry Partnerships Department. Duties and Responsibilities: • Represents the Food Bank with food industry partners, businesses, and organizations to raise awareness and increase support for the work of the Food Bank, food insecurity, the benefits of partnership, and the impact of product donations., • Supports customer service between the Food Bank and food industry partners through meetings, telephone calls, and emails. Conducts outreach and builds relationships., • Works with Manager to determine industry visits based on priorities and geographic location., • Uses the Food Bank's donor software, Primarius (P2), to run reports, create PowerPoint presentations and other materials to review with the Manager for meetings and as requested by partners., • Completes the Food Bank's Visit Form for each meeting and ensures partner information is current and accurate. Updates partner data in software as changes are received., • Communicates industry partner information, leads, or food quality/service issues to the Manager with recommendations for a solution. Researches and pursues new food donation opportunities., • Reviews data and spreadsheets with Manager to identify increases and decreases in product donations. Uses these spreadsheets to produce certificates, identify outreach opportunities, and other projects., • Coordinates select priority gleaning projects with farm partners and the Food Bank volunteer department in the fall., • Participates as directed in trainings, meetings, presentations/webinars, and conferences., • Maintains a clean and safe workspace., • Follows all safety standards and procedures., • Works independently and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank., • Adheres to the Food Bank's Employee Code of Conduct., • Performs other duties as assigned.
