The Temporary Associate will be aiding the entire team in ensuring in-kind donations are processed in a timely manner. Job DescriptionDescription: The Morgan Library & Museum invites applications for the position of Inventory and Shipping Specialist. The successful candidate will essentially maintain control of all inventory and supplies, as well as support ecommerce and mail order fulfillment. Reporting to the Director of Merchandising, the Inventory and Shipping Specialist is responsible for the accurate receipt and handling of merchandise into the POS, careful pricing, transport and storage of products, reporting damages and maintaining POS system functions. They will also work closely with the Manager of Merchandising Services and the Shop Manager to control the flow of merchandise to and from the sales floor, share relevant stockroom updates and communicate on customer order fulfillment. Day-to-date responsibilities will also include assisting the operation of the Shop sales floor as needed. Responsibilities: · Accurately receives and carefully inspects incoming shipments and merchandise for the Shop.
