    We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) to provide individualized, mandate-based services to students in primarily Brooklyn but other boroughs may vary. SEIT will deliver instructional and behavioral support aligned with the student’s IEP/IESP goals, collaborate with school staff and related service providers, and document progress consistently. This is a 5-hour per week mandate in a supportive school setting. Duties: Provide 1:1 and/or small-group SEIT services as outlined in the student’s mandate and IEP/IESP. Implement evidence-based instructional strategies to support academic, social-emotional, communication, and behavioral goals. Differentiate instruction and scaffold learning based on student needs. Collect data and maintain clear documentation of student performance and progress. Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families. Participate in team meetings as needed to support student success. Prepare and submit session notes/progress reports in accordance with agency and DOE requirements. Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and compliance with NYC DOE/CPSE policies. Skills: NYS Certified Special Education Teacher (Students with Disabilities- Birth –2nd grade) MANDATORY!
